Project Context
I redesigned a mailing list tool that impacts hundreds of users.
I worked on a function within the Bloomberg Terminal for internal employees to disseminate information. The function allows users to create topical email lists and share information with list subscribers. Though it was initially built for engineers to communicate technology updates, the function quickly grew to be used by other user groups within the company. After so much organic growth the product owners became interested in finding ways to improve the product to be more valuable and usable by the users.

My impact
I was the sole UX Design Intern this Summer.
That means that I had a lot of ownership over my project and got to make a lot of design decisions using user feedback, stakeholder input, and advice from my UX team and community! I learned a LOT this Summer about the impact UX has and how it works outside of the context of a school project, and it was incredible to be a part of this experience.
